Premier Community Health Focuses on Keeping Senior Adults Healthy
DAYTON, OHIO, May 10, 2010 – As area residents continue to age, health concerns becomes even greater. From regular health screenings to medication safety, Premier Community Health is able to offer senior adults a way to take control of their health.
Since May is Senior American’s month, Premier Community Health, thanks to a three-year grant provided by the Area Agency on Aging, is providing senior adults with free medication safety booklets.
These booklets are designed to help senior adults who take two or more medicines. The free booklet is a guide to better understand the medicines you take and provides tips for staying safe and worksheets to record personal health information.
Free copies of the booklet are available at senior centers throughout Champaign, Clark, Darke, Greene, Logan, Miami, Montgomery, Preble and Shelby counties and Premier Health Partners’ affiliates. If you would like a copy of the free medication safety booklet, call (937) 227-9400 or 1-877-274-4543.
